MOLLYMOOK GOLF CLUB REPORT

Les Moss Charity Golf Day will be held on Friday 24th September. The beneficiary of the day will be The Cancer Outpatients Appeal of Milton Ulladulla inc. a worthy cause indeed. Maureen Moss is the driving force behind the golf day which promises to be a good one.

Many thousands of dollars worth of raffle prizes and trophies are up for grabs with some fabulous items going to the best women's teams, best men's teams and mixed teams.

Please show your support for this worthy charity by entering your team with Maureen Moss ph 44551547 or by payment through the Hilltop office. Entries by Sept 10 would be appreciated.

he Grandfather's Cup was played on Saturday with the winner being Keith Sargeant with 40 points. He won on a count back from another old "Gramps" in John Tucker.

The best scores of the week came on Sunday with Darby Simmonds winning Division two with a whopping 45 points. His 45 was only just good enough to hold out Keith Lowes with 44 and Mike Crowell with 43.

The 54 hole Club Championships commence this weekend. Defending champion, Rod Tucker, will be out of the country on cricket duties, leaving the door wide open for the rest of the A grade contingent.

Members are reminded of the greens renovations on Sept 13 and 14. The Hilltop course and clubhouse will be closed on both days.
